When we made the transition to plastic-free packaging for our 250g packets, we wanted to make sure there was still a good option for people who were concerned about coffee freshness with our new compostable bags. All of the options for vacuum canisters from companies like Fellow and Airscape seemed too expensive for an anticapitalist coffee company though, especially for such a simple design as a vacuum canister.
These aren't the fanciest, but they work well and are a lovely mint green colour laser etched with the Skylark logo so you can rep us on your kitchen shelf! They're designed to hold about 250-400 grams of coffee (depending on the density of the beans you buy). If you use them as intended, we've found it will extend the shelf life of your Skylark coffee to well over 3 months.
